At our tea rooms we aim to use as many local ingredients as possible

We’re fortunate to have a plethora of great producers on our doorstep, most within two miles: Drew’s Tomatoes, Owen’s Asparagus, Strawberries and Raspberries, Mawley Milk, Hillhampton Honey and Mill Orchards Fruit Juice.

Light lunches are a range of made-to-order sandwiches, homemade soup or choose from a list of fillings for a panini. We also serve locally made quiche or home-cooked ham with salad and new potatoes.

Naomi bakes our fabulous fruit cake as well as chocolate, victoria sponge and carrot cake, Gill makes the lemon drizzle and chocolate tiffin. We have “cakes of the week” too – Simnel Cake at Easter, Lemon & Blueberry on occasions and Wimbledon Cake during strawberry season. We always have gluten, dairy-free range and vegan options. Our bread, panini loaves and teacakes are all locally sourced. We bake our own scones, make our own soup and home cook our ham.

From our Visitors’ Book

“Delicious light lunch & thank you for having dairy free food.”

We make our own lattes, cappuccinos and espresso using Ethical Addictions fairly traded coffee and our pots of tea are always served with extra hot water to get the strength just right and allow for an extra cup or two. We serve a range of fruit teas and decaf tea and coffee too.
